EAW Yakovlev Yak-3

The start base for this skin was the awesome work done by Captain Kurt. I used the unmarked pcx file.
The plane I depict here is totally non historical, and it is marked for an unidentified Guard Fighter Regiment.
The purpose is to make a personalyzed plane that can be good for everyone who like the small and nimble Yak fighter.
Some victories, and a huge patriotic inscription meaning for the Fatherland was added, as the markings of two medals of Hero of the Soviet Union.

here below the original read-me file by Captain Kurt to whom goes, as usual, my deepest thanks.

Enjoy it!

This is a new version / update of Tailspins original Yak3. Tailspin asked me to do
some work with his Yaks and this is the result. It is intended for use with Charles
Gunsts ECAPanel, using the Spitfire 14 slot. Fly it in Emils "Caucuses Campaign"
add-on.

It has a new EAW pilot and cockpit, a new spinner, lengthened fuselage, reshaped
tail, new wing shape, refined nose shape, all of which was done to improve the
accuracy of the model. It also has a new non- mirrored fuselage, new medium view
model, new distant view model, new shadow, and new skin. It also has an
excellent cockpit with wing views by Claudio.

The skin is for a 6th Guards machine, operating in the Czechoslovakia
area- late 1944 to 1945.

The skins are 3dfx compatible. For those of you who use Glide, try the basic 3dz
model first, If it has problems, then use the extra Glide 3dz model included. I
couldnt get the Glide model as perfect as the basic model, but it should work
in Glide OK. I cant test in Glide so I am guessing here.

As always with my skins, there is a PCX of an unmarked plane for anyone to add
their own markings to, with my blessings.

Cheers,

Captain Kurt
